Why doesn't this house sell?

Because instead of pricing it right from the beginning they tried to hold on to 2006 prices and that cost them in the end. This is a good home in the Moreno Highlands with lots of lake views. Dramatic high ceiling entry, this contemporary 3 bedroom 3.5 bath home has an open floorplan, hardwood floors, formal dining room, fireplace, huge master suite with double door entry & sitting room. Family room and gym + a nicely terraced yard. It came on the market in January of this year at $1,595,000, then came down to $1,395,000 in late March. 5 months later in August it dropped to $1,295,000 where it's at now. If they had been priced right and come down sooner it would have sold by now. We saw the same thing occur on Kenilworth and now it's gone into foreclosure. Moreno is on of the best streets in the Ivanhoe School Districts and the property is nice. If the the sellers really want to move it they may want come down to get it sold.
